What items should I not send in?
We do not buy any costume jewelry or precious metal-plated material.
How much will you pay me for my gold?
The payment we issue for each package we receive is different, depending upon the contents. We determine payment amounts based on the type of metal, the purity of the metal and the weight of each package. Please check out the Settlement page on our website to request a quote.
How many oz of precious materials may I send in?
Feel free to send any amount of precious material to PMG Refiners. We are a family-owned and - operated business that can service over 1,000 oz of pure gold per package. Also, we are the refiner, so please feel free to send in any amount of precious material. You will not be charged any refining fees.
How do I ship my gold jewelry to you?
It’s easy! Just sign up on our website and fill out our shipping invoice. Place the shipping invoice in a package of your choice, use any carrier you feel comfortable with, and make sure to add your own insurance. *Important: If you are using your current insurance policy to cover the package being shipped out, all insurance companies ask that you double-box your material and do not write any jewelry-related terms on the outside of the package. For example, "Joe’s Jewelers" would write "Joe's" on the package.
How will I be paid?
The choice is yours! We offer settlements in standard check, 2nd day check, and overnight check, wire transfers; or any combination the above. When filling out your shipping invoice, please select the type of payment you would like for your settlement.
May I talk to someone concerning my package or settlement?

I am located out of the United States. May I send my gold into PMG Refiners?
Of course. For the past 20 years we have been servicing the international market, and we will continue to provide these services into the future.
What are your terms and conditions?
The terms and conditions for PMG Refiners are published on our website at Terms & Conditions. In addition, our relationship will be governed by our Privacy Policy.
How do I know my package has reached your facilities?
Don’t worry: as soon as your package has reached our facilities, you will be notified with a phone call or email from one of our customer service representatives.
What if I am not sure that something is made of precious material?
You can send us any items that you think are made of precious material. Our staff and x-ray analysis technology will determine whether they are actually made of precious material and pay accordingly. If the items are not made of precious material, they will be computed as gold-filled material and yield fractional amounts, which you will also be paid for. Please do not include anything you know is costume or gold plated because we will not pay anything for these items.
Does your company have an anti-money laundering program?
Of course! The Federal law requires that every company engaged in the jewelry-buying business have an anti-money laundering (AML) program to deter terrorist activity. Any company not having such a program is subject to significant penalties and sanctions. This is for your protection and ours!
