Refining Process

  1. We check in the contents of your package. We ensure that all weights recorded on your packing slip are correct. Weight is recorded in grams. All clients are called to notify that their package has arrived in our facility.
  2. No Stone Recovery

  3. Your scrap is assigned a lot number.
  4. Your lot is processed to our melting facility.
    Your scrap is melted into a single bar.
  5. The bar and samples are assayed, using our spectrometer.
    The spectrometer provides us with an assay on your scrap.
  6. Your settlement is analyzed.
    Payment is made based upon after-melt weight and percentage of precious materials.
  7. You are contacted through email or by phone with your settlement.
    Our settlement options include standard check, overnight check, or wire transfers deposited directly into your account.
  8. Stone Recovery

  9. Your scrap is separated: with stones and without stones.
  10. Your scrap without stones is assigned a lot number.
  11. Your scrap with stones is assigned a strip lot number.
  12. Lots without stones are processed in our melting facility.
    Your scrap is melted into a single bar.
  13. Strip lots with stones are processed in our labroatory using our Chemical Stone Recovery Process .
  14. The precious metals from both lots are melted into bars to be assayed.
  15. Both the bars and samples are assayed using our spectrometer.
    The spectrometer provides us with an assay on your scrap
  16. Your settlement is analyzed.
    Payment is made based upon after-melt weight and the percentage of precious materials.
  17. You are contacted through email or by phone with your settlement.
    Our settlement options include standard check, overnight check, or wire transfers deposited directly into your account.
  18. Your stones are cleaned, weighed, and returned to you via USPS mail.
